ARC at Aesthetic Medicine Live

Updated: Sep 24, 2021

On Friday 9th July, we attended the Aesthetic Medicine Live exhibition in London, where we caught up with friends and colleagues from the world of medical aesthetics!

The busiest stands at the exhibition housed Hydrafacial and Aquafacial machines, Platelet Rich Plasma and Platelet Rich Fibrin centrifuges, as well as a range of exciting new Plasma lasers for skin rejuvenation. LED light therapy machines from Dermalux and other well-known companies featured quite prominently at the event, too. All of these attracted a consistent flow of medical practitioners and we predict that these treatments will be in-demand for a while yet.

It was also good to see some of the equipment and products we have at the clinic - we spotted the Arthrex PRP system, thr Regenlab PRP centrifuge, the Obagi ZO professional range and Universkin's new vegan-friendly cosmeceuticals. All of these are available at our Grove Park and Brentwood clinics.

Plenty of live demonstrations were taking place, so we managed to see quite a few treatments up close - specifically Inmode's radiofrequency microneedling technology and Thermavein's telangiactasia removal machine. We had the opportunity to sample a few new products from Spanish-based mesotherapy company Toskani aswell.

Aesthetic Medicine Live is always an interesting event that takes place yearly; it remains to be seen which treatments will become popular in the post-lockdown climate, but given the level of interest at the event remains as strong as ever, we believe the UK medical aesthetics industry will continue to evolve and thrive as it always has done.

Until next time (2022)!
